Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore your emotions and create meaningful change in your life. As an emotionally focused therapist, I help you uncover the deeper patterns underlying your feelings and behaviors, empowering you to build stronger connections, increased self-awareness, and work to heal from past emotional wounds. Together, we work towards helping you find a place of greater emotional well-being and resilience.

Couples Therapy

George Faller The Negative Cycle
We are all happiest when our closest relationships feel safe, secure and supportive. Our work together will help you understand where you both get stuck (a negative cycle). I am a certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT). EFT, the gold standard in couple’s therapy. Research supports this claim; "70-75% of couples move from distress to non-distress and 90% show improvement”. Johnson, S. M., Hunsley, J., Greenberg, L., & Schindler, D. (1999). Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy: Status and challenges. Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice, 6(1), 67-79.

This research, along with other studies, demonstrates that EFT has a high success rate in improving relationship satisfaction. With increased understanding and compassion, clients begin to feel safe enough to explore their emotions, share more and to be more vulnerable with one another. EFT gives couples more options to reach towards one another, and when conflict arises, they have more tools to avoid or repair the rupture between them.

Emotionally Focused Therapy
The kind of therapy I practice is called, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps individuals and couples improve their emotional connections and navigate life and relationship challenges. Rooted in attachment theory, EFT focuses on understanding and reshaping patterns that drive behavior and interaction.
