Welcome!
My name is Cara McCormack, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I have been a practicing therapist for 16 years. I hold a dual master's degree in Education and Mental Health Counseling. I have always had a passion for helping others and found my calling working in mental health. In my career I have had the great privilege of training and working with some of the country's most prominent teachers and professionals in my field. My expertise is working with adults and couples, and I am a certified Emotionally Focused Therapist.
A little bit more about me...
I am a wife of 32 years and a mother to three wonderful young women. When I am not working I enjoy lake life with my family and friends, travel, pickleball, a good book, shopping, and of course Netflix.
My clients feedback is often that I am relatable, genuine, I have a sense of humor and will often give direct and straightforward useful feedback.
I am available for both in person session in my office in North Reading, MA or virtually.​
